When you were young, did you ever wonder if a Nike truck (or a normal non-Nike labelled truck) carrying Nike sneakers broke down in the McDonalds drive-thru, would all of the staff run out and get all of the sneakers from the truck and give them away in Happy Meals?
I know that I used to put a lot of thought into this, and each time we got McDonalds (which was very few, see I grew up in a small town and the nearest McDonalds was 1.5 hours away) I would cross my little fingers and pray for some new Nikes in my Happy Meal.
I never got new Nikes, and eventually I stopped ordering Happy Meals because of it.
